CubeSat Deployers
Research and development of CubeSat deployers for Korea Space Launch Vehicle 2 (KSLV-2, Nuri)
Launched on August 2022 and June 2023
KSLV-2 second launch was on June 2022. The main payload was PVSAT (Performance Verification Satellite) which main objective was to verify performance of the launch vehicle. Another objective was to deploy 4 CubeSats developed by domestic universities. We provided 4 deployers which were installed in the satellite. They were 6U, 3U and dual 3U deployers and all CubeSats were successfully deployed.
KSLV-2 third launch was on May 2023 and payload included 7 CubeSats developed by domestic institutions, universities and KAIROSPACE (KSAT3U). We provided all deployers and 6 CubeSats were successfully deployed. The launch vehicle had cameras which provided footage of deployment.
